The very real impact of climate change: Mumkin edition

Mumkin App is an AI-driven, chatbot-based app addressing gender-based violence with a particular focus on South-Asian communities. Our advocacy lies in the intersection of safe technology and addressing gender-based violence from a feminist lens. Our submission, Climate Change X Mumkin, is part of Mumkin’s social media campaign, where we break down an essay by Mumkin staff Aradhana Choudhury to drive home the linkage between climate change and child marriage.

Mumkin App social media specializes in breaking down complex essays and research and presenting it in bite-sized information, accessible for wider outreach. Using the ‘gallery format’ on Instagram, we invite our community members to read through the crux of the essay, presented holistically, emphasizing how data surveillance impacts the marginalized population the most.
