Get enthusiastic about research, produce videos, communicate science: Fast Forward Science, the web-video competition for science, celebrates videos that deal with science, research and the future.
We invite students, researchers, web-video makers, communicators and people interested in science to produce and submit web videos about scientific topics and research. The challenge: The web videos should be entertaining, scientifically accurate and easy to understand at the same time.
We want to make science web videos more visible. Web videos are an excellent way to communicate about scientific topics and are suitable for reaching large audiences. We hope that by enhancing their visibility and showcasing excellence, we will encourage more people to use them to communicate science.
The web video competition Fast Forward Science is a joint project of Wissenschaft im Dialog and the Stifterverband. It has been held annually since 2013 and is endowed with a total of €21,500 prize money in 2020. The partner in the VISION category and of the Young Scientist Award is the Deutscher Zukunftspreis, the German President’s Award for Innovation in Science and Technology.
The submission deadline for Fast Forward Science 2020 is 26 July 2020.
